The Lakers declined Hood-Schifino's third-year team option for 2025-26 on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Hood-Schifino has yet to receive significant playing time with the Lakers and hasn't even made an NBA appearance in 2024-25. The 21-year-old guard is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
