Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Out Thursday vs. Nets

Porzingis (thigh) will not play during Thursday's tilt against the Nets, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.

As expected, Porzingis will sit out Thursday's game after not participating in Wednesday's practice due to a bruised thigh. Lance Thomas will likely absorb most of Porzingis' workload against the Nets, and could see additional run for a stretch of games moving forward. That being said, coach Jeff Hornacek indicated on Thursday that Porzingis will probably be healthy enough to play on their upcoming road trip.
