Monk won't play in Thursday's preseason game against the Clippers due to right hand soreness, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports.
The Kings will be depleted in their backcourt for the preseason finale since they'll also be without De'Aaron Fox (rest). Monk will have about a week to recover since the Kings will open their 2023-24 regular season against the Timberwolves on Thursday.
