Lyles managed a career-high 19 points (8-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 39 minutes in Thursday's 103-101 loss to the Kings.

The rookie continues to make significant strides each time he takes the court, now having posted consecutive double-digit scoring efforts for the first time in his career. Lyles' confidence seems to be growing nightly, and he's now shot an outstanding 70 percent (14-for-20) over his last two games. His 13 shot attempts Thursday were a career high, and represented the third game in January that he's hit double digits in that category. Lyles' development has been the one silver lining in Derrick Favors' extended absence, which has now reached 12 games.
