Grizzlies' Cam Spencer: Limited to start preseason

Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman said Monday that Spencer recently suffered an ankle sprain and that he will miss the beginning of preseason, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Spencer was shut down at the end of the Summer League with a minor ankle sprain, but it's unclear if this is related. A second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Spencer was already facing an uphill battle to crack the rotation prior to this injury.
