Celtics' Drew Peterson: Will become restricted free agent

The Celtics extended a qualifying offer to Peterson on Saturday, making him a restricted free agent, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

The Celtics did the same for Neemias Queta, giving the organization the option to match opposing offers in free agency. Peterson made just three appearances for the Celtics in 2024-25, playing 7.7 minutes per contest.
