McCain is in the starting lineup for Saturday's preseason contest against the Celtics.
The Sixers are resting most of their starters and veterans for this game, so the former Duke standout will be part of a young first unit. KJ Martin, Jeff Dowtin, Ricky Council IV and Guerschon Yabusele will form the rest of the starting unit.
