Carlos Sanabria: Cut loose by Detroit

The Tigers released Sanabria on Friday. Sanabria signed a minor-league deal with Detroit last February but didn't make any appearances in 2022 while spending the entire season on the restricted list. Though Sanabria was reinstated from the restricted list last week, Detroit cut him two days later. The 26-year-old right-hander, who previously made two big-league appearances out of the Houston bullpen in 2020, will now look to find a home in a new organization.
