The Yankees outrighted Guzman to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.
Guzman will remain in the Yankees organization after going unclaimed off waivers when New York designated him for assignment Saturday. He was up with the big club for less than a week, going 0-for-6 with five strikeouts across three games before being cast off the 40-man roster.
