Yankees' Cody Poteet: Activated and optioned

The Yankees activated Poteet (triceps) from the 60-day injured list Friday and optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Poteet is over the triceps injury that's kept him out since mid-June, but the Yankees have elected to keep him at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre where he had been on a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old has allowed four runs over 10.1 rehab innings with SWB.
