Gordon was removed from Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Red Sox after he required assistance off the field following a collision in the outfield with teammate Max Kepler, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Though Gordon was able to get up on his own power after being visited by team trainers, he later walked to a cart before he was transported to the locker room. The Twins have yet to provide an update on the nature or extent of Gordon's injury, but further information should be available after the game. Even a minor injury at this stage of spring training could put Gordon at risk of beginning the season on the injured list.
