Miranda is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.
Miranda sat out Monday's 15-2 loss after he was struck in the head by a pitch a day earlier in Detroit, but he returned to the lineup for Tuesday's 2-0 loss, going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts. The Twins haven't indicated that Miranda experienced any setbacks in his return to the lineup, so his absence from the starting nine Wednesday is likely just maintenance-related.
