Enns (shoulder) was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Double-A Chattanooga on Tuesday.
Enns, who landed on the disabled list Aug. 17 with shoulder inflammation, is good to go after getting through a pair of minor-league rehab outings with Triple-A Rochester. With Hector Santiago (back) nearing a return to the rotation and a scheduled off day Monday, the Twins decided Enns wasn't needed in the big-league rotation for the time being, opting to send him to Chattanooga to pitch in the minor-league playoffs instead. He'll remain an option to start for the Twins in September should a need arise.
