Witt had just one of two extra base hits for the Royals on Sunday, and his home run brought him up to 30 for a second straight year. He became the first player in franchise history to hit 30 home runs in consecutive seasons. Witt now has five home runs in his last nine games and is slashing .340/.392/.615 with 97 RBI, 117 runs, 27 steals and a 45:93 BB:K in 609 plate appearances.
