Marsh is moving to the bullpen since Michael Lorenzen (hamstring) is returning to Kansas City's rotation Wednesday against Washington, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
The 26-year-old Marsh spent the past month in the Royals' rotation but will shift to a relief role after posting a 4.37 ERA 1.32 WHIP in 22.2 innings over five starts during that span. The right-hander has started in 24 of his 25 big-league appearances this season and has a 4.65 ERA and 121:39 K:BB over 124 innings.
