Rodgers (hamstring) will start at second base and bat sixth in Friday's game against the Dodgers.
Rodgers missed each of the previous three contests with left hamstring tightness but has improved enough to give it a go in the series opener versus the Dodgers. After putting up a .936 OPS in August, Rodgers has cratered to a .496 OPS in September.
