O'Neill went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-5 loss to Arizona.
O'Neill returned to duty after missing the last two games with inflammation in a finger. He struck out in his first three plate appearances before leading off the ninth with an opposite field shot that curled just inside the Pesky Pole in right field. The homer, which traveled all of 319 feet, was O'Neill's 23rd and first since coming off the injured list Aug. 17.
