Arroyo was activated from the COVID-19 list Tuesday, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
The 26-year-old last played in the majors Aug. 26 prior to testing positive for COVID-19. The platoon player suffered more severe symptoms than his teammates and thus missed almost a month. Arroyo has posted a career-high six home runs and 25 RBI in 53 games this season. Jack Lopez was optioned to Triple-A Worcester in a corresponding move.
