Rangers' Wes Benjamin: DFA'd Sunday

The Rangers designated Benjamin for assignment Sunday.

Benjamin, who has been at Triple-A Round Rock since Sept. 14, had a 8.74 ERA and 2.03 WHIP in 22.2 big-league innings this season.
