Rangers' Travis Jankowski: Passes through waivers

Jankowski went 1-for-1 with a run scored in Friday's 9-2 loss to Oakland.

Jankowski pinch hit for Robbie Grossman in the eighth inning and scored on a throwing error. He had been placed on waivers Thursday but went unclaimed and is back with the Rangers to continue in a limited role. Jankowski has just 22 plate appearances since the All-Star break.
