Pirates' Cole Tucker: Recalled from minors

The Pirates recalled Tucker from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.

Tucker has had an unremarkable month in Indianapolis, hitting .202 with seven extra-base hits and six RBI in 84 plate appearances since the beginning of August. Manager Derek Shelton said the 24-year-old will likely start in the outfield a couple days a week, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports. Gregory Polanco was designated for assignment.
