Hays isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners.
After going 5-for-21 with four RBI and three runs scored through his first five games with the Phillies, Hays will get a day to rest Friday. While he sits, Brandon Marsh, Johan Rojas and Nick Castellanos will start across Philadelphia's outfield.
