Mullins went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Tigers.
It was Mullins' first homer since Sept. 10. He's hit safely in three straight games but has otherwise displayed a bit of inconsistency in September, batting .258 (17-for-66) with five homers, five stolen bases and 13 RBI over 18 contests. He's at least been able to secure steady playing time in center field, though he was at the bottom of the order Sunday following the returns of Jordan Westburg and Ramon Urias. Mullins has typically hit between sixth and eighth in the lineup this season.
