Orioles' Anthony Santander: Smacks 39th homer

Santander went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Rockies.

Santander crushed a two-out, two-run homer off Ryan Feltner in the top of the fourth to bring Baltimore back within one run of the Rockies and later added a double in the eighth, though he would be left stranded as the Orioles went on to suffer their third loss in their last four games. Santander has now hit safely in four straight contests, recording multiple knocks twice over that stretch. He hit just .198 in August, even following Saturday night's performance, though he still contributed eight homers, 15 RBI and 16 runs on the month. He sits at third in the majors in home runs with 39.
