Reynolds was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Reynolds was up for the Marlins' weekend series against the Phillies but didn't make an appearance. He'll hope to be back to make his major-league debut later this summer.
