White underwent hip surgery Monday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
White landed on the injured list in April with a left adductor strain, and the decision was ultimately made to send him under the knife. A timeline for his recovery was not revealed, but his absence will likely wind up being measured in months.
