Hill (wrist) was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Ryan Lewis of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Hill made 10 appearances during his rehab assignment with Columbus, notching an ugly 12.96 ERA and 2.72 WHIP across 8.1 innings. Given the poor performance, it's understandable he'll spend more time in the minors as he continues to work his way back from offseason wrist surgery. Cleveland has yet to announce a corresponding 40-man roster move.
