The Giants selected Brooks from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
Brooks will make his MLB debut Tuesday for the Giants against the Phillies as the first baseman, batting ninth. In Triple-A Sacramento this season, he has slashed .308/.426/.462 with four home runs across 177 plate appearances in 43 games. The promotion coincides with LaMonte Wade being placed on the injured list and Ryan McKenna being designated for assignment.
