Giants' Joe Panik: Misses second straight

Panik (groin) remains out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.

Panik has now missed back-to-back games due to groin soreness, and will effectively give way to Kelby Tomlinson at the keystone for the second straight day. Consider Panik day-to-day heading in to Monday's series opener in Cincinnati.
