Betts was activated from the paternity list Thursday.
Betts was placed on the paternity leave list Tuesday and missed two games as a result. He's not in the Dodgers' starting lineup Thursday against the Cubs, with Trayce Thompson entering the mix in center field while hitting fifth. It's unclear what position Betts may play upon his return, as there is the potential that he'll suit up at shortstop with Miguel Rojas (hamstring) currently on the injured list.
