Diamondbacks' Alek Thomas: Sitting to begin Saturday

Thomas is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Saturday marks the second time in three games that Thomas will begin the contest in the dugout. He went 0-for-2 with one walk in Friday's 3-2 win over Philadelphia. Jake McCarthy will start in center field and bat sixth against Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola.
