Cubs' Kris Bryant: Left out of lineup

Bryant isn't included in the Cubs' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.

With a West Coast road trip beginning Thursday, Bryant is most likely just receiving a maintenance day following an extended stretch of starts. Bryant had been included in the lineup in each of the Cubs' last 11 games, slashing .346/.388/.543 with two home runs, 10 RBI, five runs and a stolen bases.
