Team doctors cleared Siani (oblique) to resume swinging a bat Saturday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Siani has been throwing and doing light fielding drills since undergoing a PRP injection Aug. 6, and he'll now be able to add swinging to his baseball activities. The center fielder hasn't played since Aug. 3 due to a strained right oblique but could be back before the end of August.
