Gibson allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Wednesday.

Gibson induced three double plays over the first four innings to cover his mistakes. The Brewers broke through for single runs in the fifth and sixth innings, and Gibson left with the game tied at 2-2. He's posted just two quality starts over six outings since the All-Star break, allowing a total of 18 runs (17 earned) across 34.2 innings in that span. For the season, the veteran right-hander has a 4.22 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 126:52 K:BB through 136.1 innings over 24 starts. Gibson's next start is projected to come at home versus the Padres.
