Blazek was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a right forearm strain.
Blazed missed time in June with a right elbow injury and it appears he is again dealing with soreness in his pitching arm. It's not yet clear how long he will be out, but he will be sidelined at least until August 29.
