The Brewers optioned Yardley to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Yardley goes back to the minors a day after being recalled, suggesting he was just a temporary fill-in before Adrian Houser (COVID-19) was activated Sunday. It remains to be seen whether the righty will get another big-league opportunity in 2021.
