Berroa went 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, an RBI and two stolen bases in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Orioles.

The 25-year-old switch hitter got the start in right field and hit ninth in the nightcap, and he took full advantage of the opportunity. Berroa has seen only 16 plate appearances in the majors this season, mainly getting deployed as a pinch runner or late-inning defensive sub, but he does have four steals in five attempts. The Blue Jays' acquisition of Joey Loperfido on Monday puts another outfielder between Berroa and more consistent playing time.
