Tepesch was sent outright to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday.
The 28-year-old righty cleared waivers and will remain with the Jays to begin the offseason. Tepesch has appeared in 47 big-league games, 44 of which he started, but only logged four outings this season with Minnesota and Buffalo.
