Blue Jays' Daulton Varsho: Not in Thursday's lineup

Varsho is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Padres.

The left-handed Blake Snell will toe the rubber for San Diego, so Varsho is getting the day off. Whit Merrifield will play left field while Santiago Espinal covers second base.
