Blue Jays' Alejandro Kirk: On bench for nightcap

Kirk is out of the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader with the Orioles.

Kirk will take a seat for the second game of the twin bill after he went 3-for-4 with a trio of base hits in the Blue Jays' 11-5 loss in the first contest of the day. Though Brian Serven will get the nod behind the dish for the nightcap, Kirk looks like the Blue Jays' clear No. 1 catcher moving forward following the recent trade of Danny Jansen to the Red Sox.
