Garcia left Monday's start against the Giants due to right elbow discomfort after throwing eight pitches, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Garcia was unable to record an out before the training staff was sent out to the mound. The extent of the injury is unclear at this time, though he's likely headed for further evaluation. Brandon Bielak replaced Garcia and will likely be asked to eat up at least a few innings.
