Heyward is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.
The lefty-hitting Heyward will take a seat Saturday against southpaw Reid Detmers and the Halos. In his last seven games, Heyward is 7-for-20 (.350) with two home runs. Mauricio Dubon will bat ninth and play left field.
