Fred Johnson PHI OT
Eagles' Fred Johnson: Remaining with Philadelphia
3h agoThe Eagles are re-signing Johnson to a one-year contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Johnson has spent the past three campaigns with the Eagles, playing in all 51 regular-season games during that span and making 14 starts. He'll likely retain his role as a swing tackle during the upcoming campaign.
-
Zach Wilson MIA QB
Saints' Zach Wilson: Signing with Saints
5h agoThe Saints are in line to sign Wilson, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Wilson -- who spent last season with the Dolphins -- will join the Saints on a one-year deal. The No. 2 overall pick (by the Jets) in the 2021 NFL Draft joins a QB room in New Orleans that also includes Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler. Wilson last started a regular season game in 2023, but prior to that, the 26-year-old drew 33 starts during his first three years with New York. Katherine Terrell of ESPN previously noted that the Saints were preparing to move ahead with Shough as their starting quarterback in 2026, but at a minimum, Wilson gives the team another signal-caller option with NFL starting experience to turn to, if needed.
-
Elijah Moore DEN WR
Eagles' Elijah Moore: Joining Eagles' WR corps
7h agoThe Eagles are slated to sign Moore to a one-year deal, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
In nine regular-season games with the Bills in 2025, Moore caught just nine passes on 17 targets for 112 yards and carried six times for 24 yards and a TD. However, the 2021 second-rounder did log a 61/538/1 receiving line with Browns a year prior, and the 25-year-old will now look to engineer a bounce-back campaign with the Eagles. For now, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown are atop the team's WR depth chart, but there's been plenty of speculation that Brown could be moved, and if that happens, Moore could push for notable role in Philadelphia's offense in 2026.
-
Joe Flacco CIN QB
Bengals' Joe Flacco: Staying in Cincinnati
10h agoThe Bengals and Flacco agreed to a one-year contract Tuesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports
Flacco kicked off last season as the Browns' No. 1 quarterback, completing 93 of 160 passes (58.1 percent) for 815 yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions in four starts. Cleveland then dealt him to Cincinnati, where he proceeded to fill in for the injured Joe Burrow. In six more starts with his new team, Flacco racked up 1,636 yards and a 13:4 TD:INT on 61.6 percent passing. Once Burrow recovered from his turf toe injury, Flacco saw only spot action down the stretch of the 2025 campaign, a role he figures to fill again this season as long as the former remains healthy.
-
Cam Jones NYJ LB
Giants' Cam Jones: Joining forces with Giants
10h agoJones agreed to terms Tuesday on a contract with the Giants.
Jones played 167 snaps on special teams as compared to just five defensive snaps across his 10 appearances with the Jets in 2025. The linebacker will compete for a similar role in 2026 while remaining in the New York area.
-
Derion Kendrick LAR CB
Cowboys' Derion Kendrick: Inks one-year deal in Dallas
11h agoKendrick signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Kendrick kicked off the 2025 campaign handling a depth role with Seattle, but he was waived after 10 regular-season appearances and then claimed by the Rams, playing five more games. The cornerback and special-teamer will compete for a reserve gig in Dallas.
-
Zac Veen COL RF
Rockies' Zac Veen: Sitting with bruised knee
3h agoVeen has been sidelined since March 9 due to a right knee contusion.
Veen injured himself sliding while trying to make a catch in the outfield. He had been slashing .250/.375/.550 with a pair of homers and four RBI through 24 plate appearances in the Cactus League, but his extended absence could be a sign that he won't be available for Opening Day.
-
Matt Wallner MIN LF
Twins' Matt Wallner: Set for everyday role
3h agoWallner is expected to play everyday in right field and won't sit against left-handed pitchers early in the season, according to manager Derek Shelton via Matthew Leach of MLB.com.
Wallner has had problems against left-handed pitching (career .641 OPS against LHP), so this is a good sign for his playing time. He did improve to a .790 OPS vs. LHP last season. Wallner reduced his problematic strikeout rate below 30 percent for the first time in his career (29.1 percent) last season and had the best contact rate of his career (66.1 percent), so there are promising signs he could have a breakout season despite posting just a .775 OPS last year.
-
Ryan Jeffers MIN C
Twins' Ryan Jeffers: Ends spring with flourish
4h agoJeffers went 3-for-3 with two RBI in the Grapefruit League finale win against Boston on Tuesday. He hit .239 (11-for-46) with a home run this spring. He's set to get the bulk of starts behind the plate plus occasional starts at DH, MLB.com reports.
Jeffers split playing time with Christian Vazquez last season as the Twins emphasized keeping their catchers fresh. However, Jeffers is expected to get the majority of starts this season under new manager Derek Shelton with Victor Caratini serving as his backup.
-
Adam Frazier LAA 2B
Angels' Adam Frazier: Contract selected
4h agoThe Angels selected Frazier's contract from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old emerged as the frontrunner to begin the season as the Angels' primary second baseman once the club sent Christian Moore and Kyren Paris to the minors last week, and Frazier's addition to the active roster makes it even more likely that will be the case. He made a strong case for himself to make the big-league squad, slashing .281/.452/.375 with six RBI and four runs scored over 18 games during spring training. He'll most likely work in a platoon at the keystone with Oswald Peraza -- a scenario that will still allow the lefty-hitting Frazier to start more often than not.
-
Anthony Banda MIN RP
Twins' Anthony Banda: Set to make roster
4h agoBanda will make Minnesota's final 26-man roster, MLB.com reports. He had a 4.91 ERA and 9:6 K:BB in 7.1 innings this spring.
Banda should have a prominent role in the setup corps for the Twins. However, he's one of three lefties in the bullpen, which could limit his usage in the highest-leverage roles.
-
Kirby Yates LAA RP
Angels' Kirby Yates: Lands on injured list
4h agoThe Angels placed Yates on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to March 22, with left knee inflammation.
With Yates on the IL until at least April 6, the Angels are looking at a potential closing tandem of righty Jordan Romano and lefty Drew Pomeranz. Romano has put together a much better spring with a 1.50 ERA compared to Pomeranz's 9.64 mark.
-
Nikola Jokic DEN C
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Delivers monster triple-double
2h agoJokic finished with 23 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 17 rebounds and 17 assists in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 125-123 win over the Suns.
Jokic was clearly ready to play Tuesday night, as he collected seven points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the first quarter and fell just short of a triple-double in the first half alone. He easily picked up his seventh triple-double of March with a strong second half, pacing the Nuggets in points, rebounds and assists. Jokic also tied his best mark of the season in dimes, a mark he reached one other time this year Feb. 7 against Chicago.
-
Donovan Mitchell CLE SG
Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Strikes for 42 points in victory
4h agoMitchell tallied 42 points (14-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 11-11 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 136-131 win over the Magic.
Mitchell did the majority of his damage as a scorer Tuesday, leading the Cavs in the scoring column and reaching the 40-point threshold for the fifth time this season. The 29-year-old posted an efficient shooting line by drilling 63.6 percent of his tries from the field while enjoying a perfect night from the charity stripe. Mitchell is now averaging 27.2 points over his last six appearances.
-
Paolo Banchero ORL PF
Magic's Paolo Banchero: Drops 36 points in loss
4h agoBanchero posted 36 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 13-15 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block across 40 minutes in Tuesday's 136-131 loss to the Cavaliers.
Banchero led the Magic in scoring and reached the 30-point threshold for a second consecutive contest, albeit in a losing effort. He also knocked down three triples for the third time over his last five outings -- the first time he's done so in any five-game stretch this season. The star forward also led the team in assists and has dished out at least five dimes in five straight games.
-
Miles McBride NY PG
Knicks' Miles McBride: Progresses to scrimmaging
5h agoMcBride (pelvis) remains without a definitive timetable for a return but has progressed to scrimmaging, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
McBride underwent sports hernia surgery Feb. 6 but recently returned to contact work and has now been cleared to participate in scrimmages. According to Stefan Bondy of The New York Post, the 25-year-old guard is hopeful he will return before the postseason, and for now, he can be considered week-to-week.
-
Zion Williamson NO PF
Pelicans' Zion Williamson: Team-high 22 points in loss
5h agoWilliamson closed Tuesday's 121-116 loss to the Knicks with 22 points (8-10 FG, 6-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes.
Williamson needed just 10 field-goal attempts to surpass the 20-point threshold during Tuesday's loss. The 2019 first-overall pick continues to enjoy a productive season, and more importantly, he has been healthy after playing just 30 games during the 2024-25 regular season. Since the All-Star break, Williamson has averaged 20.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals over 30.1 minutes per game.
-
Jordan Goodwin PHO SG
Suns' Jordan Goodwin: Retreating to bench
5h agoGoodwin isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.
Royce O'Neale is returning from a knee injury Tuesday, which means Goodwin will shift back to a bench role. He hasn't been nearly as effective as a reserve, as he's averaging 5.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals in his last five outings off the bench, compared to 10.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in his previous three appearances with the first unit.
-
Filip Hronek VAN D
Canucks' Filip Hronek: Adds two power-play helpers
6m agoHronek logged two power-play assists, five shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
Hronek has three goals and six assists over his last 10 outings. The 28-year-old defenseman remains one of the few reliable Canucks to roster in fantasy, especially since he offers some multi-category upside. For the season, he's at 41 points, 109 shots on net, 114 hits, 90 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 70 appearances.
-
Elias Pettersson VAN C
Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Hits 500-point mark in career
8m agoPettersson registered two power-play assists and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
Just a week after reaching the 200-goal mark in his career, Pettersson has earned his 300th assist and 500th point. He accomplished the milestone in 533 regular-season contests, though he has struggled in the last two years to match the potential he showed early in his career. This season, the 27-year-old center is at 15 goals, 28 helpers, 108 shots on net, 96 blocked shots, 55 hits and a minus-21 rating over 62 appearances, production nearly identical to what he did in 2024-25.
-
Drew O'Connor VAN LW
Canucks' Drew O'Connor: Puts away goal Tuesday
10m agoO'Connor scored a goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
O'Connor has three points and 15 shots on net over his last five games. The 27-year-old is no fantasy superstar, but he's contributed a fair amount of offense for the low-scoring Canucks this season. He's up to 17 goals, 27 points, 114 shots on net, 64 hits and 36 PIM across 70 appearances and remains in a top-six role.
-
Jake DeBrusk VAN LW
Canucks' Jake DeBrusk: Opens scoring on power play
12m agoDeBrusk scored a power-play goal on four shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
DeBrusk snapped a seven-game slump with the first-period tally. That dry spell has landed him back on the fourth line regularly, though he remains a member of the first power-play unit. The 29-year-old winger is up to 15 goals, 33 points (17 on the power play), 179 shots on net, 59 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-25 rating over 69 appearances. His 8.4 shooting percentage is the second-lowest in his career, and combined with a poor supporting cast, it explains much of his downturn on offense after four straight campaigns at or above 40 points.
-
Brock Boeser VAN RW
Canucks' Brock Boeser: Scores power-play tally
14m agoBoeser scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
Boeser ended a four-game goal drought with the tally. He had five helpers in that span and has generally bounced back in March with five goals and six assists for the month. The winger is up to 17 goals, 37 points, 140 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-34 rating over 63 appearances, but his recent play suggests he could rebound in 2026-27 even if the team around him doesn't make significant improvements.
-
Kevin Lankinen VAN G
Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Surrenders four goals in loss
17m agoLankinen stopped 29 of 33 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
The Canucks kept it close for much of the game, but they came up a goal short. Lankinen is now on a three-game losing streak with 12 goals allowed on 84 shots in that span. That's fairly poor performance even by Lankinen's shaky standards this season. He's down to 8-24-5 with a 3.63 GAA and an .876 save percentage over 40 appearances. The Canucks' next game is Thursday at home versus the Kings. Given Lankinen's recent play, Nikita Tolopilo may be due a start soon.
