After appearing 16 regular-season games during the 2023 season, Young spent much of the 2024 campaign on injured reserve with a knee injury. A fourth-round pick just two years ago, Young turns 25 in June and will look for a fresh start elsewhere.

Seahawks' Cameron Young: Placed on IR with knee injury
The Seahawks placed Young (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Young was on IR for the first five games of the regular season due to a knee injury. He returned for Week 6 against the 49ers, but he aggravated the issue in that contest and was forced to sit for the following two games. The injury is severe enough to warrant a second stint on the IR, and Young will be forced to sit for at least the next four regular-season games. The earliest he can return will be Week 14 against the Cardinals on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Seahawks' Cameron Young: Ruled out for Week 9
Young (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Rams, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reprorts.
Young will be forced to miss another contest in Week 9 as he continues to nurse a knee issue. He will now shift his focus to being ready for Seattle's next contest in Week 11 against the 49ers on Nov. 17.
