Johnson put the Bills on the board early in the first quarter when he picked off Joe Flacco on a pass intended for Josh Downs and took it to the house for his first pick-six since the 2020 regular season. In his five outings since returning from a four-game absence due to a forearm injury, Johnson has logged 30 tackles (18 solo), including 1.0 sacks, four pass defenses (including two interceptions) and one forced fumble.

Johnson hasn't played or practiced since suffering the injury early in the team's Week 1 win over the Cardinals. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Johnson (forearm) will not play in Sunday's game against the Ravens, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson injured his forearm in the Bills' Week 1 win over the Cardinals and will miss a third straight game. Despite Johnson's multi-week absence, McDermott said that he's optimistic that the slot corner won't require a stint on injured reserve, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. Johnson's next chance to play will arrive Week 5 against the Texans on Oct. 6.

Johnson has been sidelined since suffering the injury in the Bills' Week 1 win over the Cardinals. His ability thus far to avoid IR suggests his return will come sooner rather than later but will now have to wait until at least Week 4 against the Ravens. Head coach Sean McDermott said Johnson's forearm injury is "still new," but the hope is that he'll be back in time to avoid an injured-reserve list appearance, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
Johnson's return date is unknown, but this news does mean he'll likely be back within the next four weeks. The veteran cornerback's inactive status should continue to give more playing time to Cam Lewis in the slot corner spot, as it has in the first two weeks of play.
