Lester Quinones: Let go by Philly
The 76ers plan to waive Quinones on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Quinones will be cut loose in order for the 76ers to open up a two-way slot for big man Pete Nance, who is expected to bolster Philadelphia's depth in the frontcourt while Joel Embiid (knee) and Andre Drummond (ankle) tend to injuries. The 24-year-old Quinones appeared in only four games for Philadelphia, averaging 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds across 4.3 minutes per contest.

76ers' Lester Quinones: Signs deal with Philadelphia
Quinones and the 76ers agreed to a two-way contract Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Quinones has two years of NBA experience, all coming with the Warriors. During the 2023-24 regular season, Quinones averaged 4.4 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 37 regular-season appearances.

Lester Quinones: Ticketed for free agency
Quinones will become an unrestricted free agent after the Warriors declined Friday to extend him a $2.29 million qualifying offer, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Quinones had spent the better part of the last two seasons as a two-way player for the Warriors, but Golden State upgraded him to a one-year, standard NBA contract in February. While Quinones was eligible to compete in the postseason as a result of the adjustment to his contract, it put him in line for a bump in pay in 2024-25, and the Warriors apparently weren't willing to keep him around on a $2.29 million salary. Quinones averaged only 4.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.9 three-pointers in 10.6 minutes per game while shooting just 39.7 percent from the field over his 37 appearances for Golden State in 2023-24, but he was a top-notch performer at the G League level the past two seasons and demonstrated impressive positional versatility. Golden State could still look to bring him back on another two-way deal or on a non-guaranteed contract, but Quinones will first canvas the open market and see if he can find a better opportunity elsewhere.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Ties season high off bench in loss
Quinones finished Sunday's 140-88 loss to the Celtics with 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt) and five rebounds over 33 minutes.
Quinones led all Warriors players in scoring while tying a season-high mark thanks to a team-high trio of threes over a team-leading minute total off the bench. Quinones has connected on three or more threes in three games this season while surpassing the double-digit scoring mark off the bench four times.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Bumped out of rotation Tuesday
Quinones played the final 1:29 of Tuesday's 123-112 win over the Wizards, finishing with one assist during his time on the court.
Quinones had logged double-digit minutes in 12 of his prior 13 appearances, but he found himself as the odd man out of head coach Steve Kerr's rotation while the Warriors welcomed Chris Paul (hand) back from a 21-game absence. The Warriors still had another spot available in the rotation with Andrew Wiggins (personal) sitting out, but Moses Moody (23 minutes) ended up filling the void rather than Quinones. Wiggins' eventual return will only make Quinones' path to regular minutes more murky, so the second-year player will likely find it difficult to deliver fantasy value even in deeper leagues moving forward.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Gets standard deal from Golden State
The Warriors plan to convert Quinones from a two-way deal to a one-year standard NBA contract ahead of Thursday's game against the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
After he was named the G League's Most Improved Player following his first professional season in 2022-23, Quinones was in the midst of his second season on a two-way deal with Golden State. Unlike last season, Quinones had taken on a more focal role with the Warriors; he had averaged 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 three-pointers in 19.6 minutes per game over nine appearances in February. Now that he's been upgraded to a standard contract, Quinones should continue to stick in the Golden State rotation, at least in the short term.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Steps up after Wiggins exits early
Quinones scored a career-high 17 points (6-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added five rebounds over 23 minutes in Saturday's 141-134 overtime loss to the Hawks.
Quinones logged double-digit minutes off the bench for the third game in a row and ensured the Golden State offense didn't miss a beat even as Andrew Wiggins' night came to an early end due to an ankle injury. Though his emergence of late has resulted in point guard Cory Joseph falling out of the rotation over the past two games, Quinones has primarily been deployed on the wing for Golden State. Quinones will soon face a threat for minutes, with Moses Moody (calf) nearing a return to the court, but a potential Wiggins absence could free up playing time for both young players.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Logs career-high 18 minutes
Quinones contributed six points (2-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists across 18 minutes during Saturday's 129-118 loss to the Bucks.
Quinones played just his 11th game of NBA basketball, scoring six points in a career-high 18 minutes. With the Warriors running a shorthanded roster, Quinones was able to play meaningful minutes, arguably for the first time in his career. Of course, this should be viewed as an outlier when it comes to fantasy projections. Outside of dynasty formats, he has no sustainable value.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Plays four minutes off bench
Quinones finished Thursday's 128-109 loss to the Thunder with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) across four minutes.
Quinones hasn't been part of Golden State's rotation early in the year, as Thursday's matchup was the first time he had taken the floor since the start of November. The 23-year-old could continue to see a few minutes in blowout games but is unlikely to see much of a role for the parent club as long as the team stays relatively healthy.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Shines off bench Sunday
Quinones accounted for 18 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 24 minutes in Sunday's 121-115 preseason overtime win over the Kings.
Quinones is not expected to be a factor for the Warriors once the regular season rolls around, but the promising sharpshooter left his mark in this game, particularly when drilling a clutch three in overtime. He had scored just two points in two games this preseason, so there's a strong chance this was nothing more than an outlier instead of what to expect going forward.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Remaining with Golden State
Quinones signed a two-way contract with the Warriors on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Quinones spent the 2022-23 campaign with Golden State on a two-way deal and averaged 2.5 points in 4.5 minutes per game over four appearances with the club. However, he had a solid Summer League showing, averaging 21.9 points, 4.4 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game, and he'll have the opportunity to compete for a full roster spot during training camp this year.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Another huge outing
Quinones secured 32 points (8-17 FG, 4-9 3PT, 12-13 FT), six assists, four rebounds, three steals and two blocks across 32 minutes of Saturday's 108-101 Summer League loss to the Raptors.
Quinones single-handedly produced nearly a third of the Warriors' points Saturday, amassing a game-high 32. Though Golden State will end Summer League without a win, Quinones was a bright spot for the team and looks poised for a second-year leap.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Drops 29 points in OT loss
Quinones collected 29 points (8-23 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 11-15 FT), seven rebounds and five assists over 38 minutes of Wednesday's 98-96 overtime loss against the Mavericks in Summer League.
Though Quinones couldn't find his shooting stroke from deep Wednesday, he was incredibly effective at getting to the rim, attempting a game-high 15 free throws. He also provided a boost on the offensive glass, with three of his seven total rebounds coming on the offensive end. Despite being the offensive focal point for Golden State, Quinones only turned the ball over once while dishing out five assists. The 6-foot-4 guard has made a name for himself this summer and could be playing his way onto the Warriors' NBA roster

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Drops 26 points in loss
Quinones posted 26 points (8-17 FG, 4-10 3PT, 6-8 FT), two assists, two rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes of Sunday's 94-86 Summer League loss against New Orleans.
Quinones continues to shine offensively in Summer League, going over 20 points for the third straight game. Not only is he scoring at a high rate, he is doing so in an efficient manner, making a case for him to be brought up to the Warriors' main roster come the regular season.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Dazzles with 21 points
Quinones submitted 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-9 3PT), three assists and two rebounds across 27 minutes of Wednesday's 98-83 Summer League win over Charlotte.
After dropping 26 points in Golden State's Summer League opener, Quinones once again led the team in scoring, this time with 21 points. He was highly efficient, shooting 50 percent from the field and knocking down three-pointers at a 55 percent clip. After an impressive season with Santa Cruz in 2022-23, Quinones is making an appealing case to be brought up to the Warriors' NBA roster this year.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Stars in Summer League opener
Quinones posted 26 points (10-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes during Monday's 100-94 Summer League loss to Sacramento.
Quinones signed a two-way contract the Warriors as an undrafted player out of Arizona last offseason, and he went on to dominate in the G League, averaging 21.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 31 appearances. He was named the 2022-23 Kia NBA G League Most Improved Player and finished as the runner-up for G League Rookie of the Year. Quinones is expected to be the go-to player for Golden State's Summer League squad over the next two weeks.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Drops 30 points Saturday
Quinones posted 30 points (8-22 FG, 3-12 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks during Saturday's win over Iowa.
Quinones reached the 30-point mark and tallied a double-double for a second time across his last three appearances. With Santa Cruz this season, the guard is averaging a blazing 19.9 points per matchup.

Warriors' Lester Quinones: Joins Golden State on two-way deal
Quinones agreed Thursday with the Warriors on a two-way contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Quinones will take the two-way spot vacated by Anthony Lamb, who was converted to a standard NBA deal to fill the final opening on the Warriors' 15-man roster. An undrafted rookie out of Memphis, Quinones previously signed a 10-day contract with the team earlier in March but didn't make his NBA debut before the contract expired. He'll likely get the chance to debut with Golden State prior to the end of the season, but he's still expected to see the bulk of his playing time in the G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors, with whom he's spent the entire 2022-23 campaign. Over 26 appearances with Santa Cruz, the 6-foot-4, 208-pound guard has averaged 21.4 points (on 45.2 percent shooting from the field), 7.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 3.0 three-pointers and 0.7 steals in 32.4 minutes per contest.
