Johnathan Motley: Heads to Korea
Motley signed a contract with the Incheon Electroland Elephants of the Korean Basketball League earlier this month, Dario Skerletic of Sportando.com reports.
Motley is overseas for the first time in his career after spending time both at the G League and NBA level since going undrafted out of Baylor in 2017. Before getting the opportunity in Korea, Motley had attended training camp with the Suns in December, only to get cut loose before the start of the season. He'll look to impress in Korea with the hope of garnering renewed interest from NBA teams heading into 2021-22.

Johnathan Motley: Let go by Phoenix
Motley was waived by the Suns on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The 25-year-old joined the Suns on a camp deal and unsurprisingly didn't make the season-opening roster. Motley is a likely candidate to join the team's G League affiliate in Northern Arizona.

Suns' Johnathan Motley: Joins Suns on camp deal
Motley agreed Monday with the Suns on a training-camp deal, Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reports.
Motley will move on to another organization after the Clippers opted not to re-sign him following back-to-back seasons as a two-way player for Los Angeles. The 25-year-old big man has seen sparse action at the NBA level over his three professional seasons, but he's at least been productive on a per-minute basis over his 46 career games (averages of 21.8 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per 36 minutes). If Motley is unable to win a spot on Phoenix's opening-night roster, he'll likely join the Suns' G League affiliate in Northern Arizona.

Clippers' Johnathan Motley: Leads team to G League win
Motley totaled 33 points (11-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's G League win over Stockton.

Clippers' Johnathan Motley: Massive double-double in G League
Motley tallied 30 points (11-18 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 35 minutes Tuesday for the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers in their 117-103 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
With career averages of 23.0 points and 9.4 rebounds in 33.1 minutes over 78 games in the G League during the past two-plus seasons, Motley doesn't have much left to prove at the level. That being said, his status as a two-way player limits him to only 45 days with the NBA Clippers, so he's likely to remain with Agua Caliente for the foreseeable future unless a rash of injuries hits the Los Angeles frontcourt.

Motley has re-signed with the Clippers on a two-way contract, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Motley played the majority of his NBA minutes in garbage time, but his G-League showing last season was enough to show he has promise. Given the influx of star power on the Clippers' roster, it would still be surprising if Motley saw significant minutes barring a barrage of injuries.

Clippers' Johnathan Motley: Scores 10 points off bench
Motley recorded 10 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT) and seven rebounds in 29 minutes Thursday against Indiana.
Motley was surprisingly productive for his team off the bench, but the Clippers would lose in embarrassing fashion on the road. Thursday marked the first time since Jan. 20 that Motley finished with 10 or more points, as his opportunities have been limited this season given his current role in the team's rotation.
