Draft Scouting Report
Jeremiah Wright is a massive, physical tone-setter who anchors the interior offensive line with rare power. A natural mauler in the run game, he excels as a pulling guard where his athleticism and heavy hands allow him to overwhelm defenders in space. While he primarily lines up on the right side, his awareness in picking up stunts and his consistent effort make him a dependable fit in a power scheme.
- 2024-25: Started all 24 games at RG
- 2022: Converted from DL to OG after missing 2021 season with torn ACL
- Dominant pulling guard who consistently locks onto and finishes targets.
- Exceptional power and anchor to reset the pocket against bull rushes.
- Advanced awareness to identify stunts and simulated pressures.
- Occasional leverage issues when his pads rise, allowing blocks to shed.
- Can struggle to redirect against quick defenders when isolated.
- Limited recovery speed if a defender crosses his face.

Saints' Jeremiah Wright: Heads to New Orleans
The Saints selected Wright in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 132nd overall.
Wright worked on both the offensive and defensive lines during his six-year college career at Auburn before settling as the team's starter at right guard in 2024 and 2025. He has the strength to overpower opposing defenders and anchor an offensive line, but he'll need to work on his technique and skill to keep up with NFL-level defenses. Wright figures to work in a reserve role at guard behind Cesar Ruiz and David Edwards, with veteran Dillon Radunz also in the mix.
