  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Garners 72 total yards, TD in loss

Robinson rushed 16 times for 63 yards and a touchdown and brought in his only target for nine yards in the Commanders' 26-18 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night.

Robinson opened the scoring on a one-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter, his seventh rushing TD of the season. Six of those trips to the end zone have come in the last six contests, and Robinson has managed at least Thursday's rushing yardage total in four of the last five games. Robinson does continue to be the clear lead back when healthy -- Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols combined for only five rush attempts against Philadelphia -- and that pattern should continue in a highly favorable Week 12 home matchup against the Cowboys on Sunday, Nov. 24.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Ready to return in Week 11

Robinson (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game at Philadelphia, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.

After missing the last two games due to a lingering hamstring injury, Robinson will be back in action Week 11. His full participation in practice Wednesday indicates that he has a decent chance to retain his position as Washington's primary runner, but Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez all will be on hand for reps, too. In seven contests this season, Robinson is averaging 15.7 touches for 77.1 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring six times on the ground.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Stays limited in walkthrough

Robinson (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

After sitting out the Commanders' last two games with a hamstring injury, Robinson has been listed as limited on the team's first two Week 11 injury reports, both of which were estimates. Earlier Tuesday, head coach Dan Quinn told JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington that the Commanders will hold a higher-intensity practice Wednesday, which should offer a better picture of his likely status for Thursday's game in Philadelphia. If Robinson ends up sitting out a third straight game or is available in only a limited capacity, Austin Ekeler would continue to operate as Washington's lead back after earning double-digit touches each of the past two weeks.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Estimated as limited Monday

Robinson (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate.

Robinson didn't practice this past Friday before being ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Though the Commanders merely held a walkthrough Monday, Robinson's limited listing suggests that he may have a chance to return to the lineup Thursday night against the Eagles. Look for further context regarding his Week 11 status to arrive no later than Tuesday, when Washington's next injury report is issued. If Robinson remains sidelined versus Philadelphia, Austin Ekeler would be in line for another start at running back, with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez mixing in.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Ruled out for Week 10

Robinson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Robinson ended up inactive as a game-time decision last week and now will miss a second straight game. Austin Ekeler filled in as the starting RB in a 27-22 win over the Giants on Sunday, but Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols got most of the work late in the game while nursing a lead, with Ekeler ultimately taking just four touches after halftime. A tighter game could work more in Ekeler's favor, and he's at least a good bet to dominate backfield snaps on passing downs. Robinson's next chance to play will be Thursday against the Eagles, four days after the matchup with Pittsburgh.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Not seen at practice

Robinson (hamstring) isn't participating in the media-access portion of practice Friday and may be a game-time decision for a matchup with the Steelers on Sunday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Robinson was a game-time decision last week, with reports Saturday night and Sunday morning suggesting he was expected to play. The Commanders then made him inactive for a 28-23 win over the Giants -- a series of events that likely will have fantasy managers approaching the situation with great caution this week. Robinson was a limited practice participant all last week and again this Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Another limited session

Robinson (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.

Robinson remains with a cap on his practice reps for a second week in a row due to a hamstring injury. On the first occasion this past Sunday against the Giants, he was inactive, so it remains to be seen if another absence is in the offing. In any case, Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols and practice-squad member Chris Rodriguez are on hand in the event Robinson sits out again this weekend.
