Commanders' Brian Robinson: Inactive in Week 9
Robinson (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday at the Giants.
Robinson was limited during Week 9 prep due to a hamstring injury, entering the weekend as questionable to suit up Sunday. Following a pregame warmup that didn't appear to go well, he's now confirmed to be out for the second time this season. With Robinson unavailable, Austin Ekeler likely will lead the Commanders backfield, with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez also on hand for RB reps.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Likely inactive Sunday
Robinson (hamstring) is expected to be inactive Sunday at the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
After being limited in practice during the entirety of Week 9 prep due to a hamstring injury, Robinson entered the weekend as questionable. He then took part in a pregame warmup that apparently didn't go swimmingly, and following a lengthy discussion with the Commanders' training staff, things begin to trend toward him not suiting up. Now that it's confirmed Robinson is out for Sunday's game, the Commanders backfield likely will be paced by Austin Ekeler, while Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez will be on hand for any RB reps that linger.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Trending toward playing Sunday
Head coach Dan Quinn noted ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants that Robinson (hamstring) -- who listed as questionable -- is "doing great and ready to get rolling with everybody today," Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Per Garafolo, the Commanders are in line to work Robinson out, but at this stage it appears as though the running back is slated to be available versus New York. Either way, official confirmation of Robinson's Week 9 status will arrive when Washington's inactives are posted in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Appears set to play Sunday
Robinson (hamstring), who is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Robinson dealt with a hamstring injury throughout the week and was held to a trio of limited practice sessions. Despite the hamstring issue, he appears on track to suit up and take the field in the NFC East matchup versus New York. Robinson racked up 133 yards on 17 carries against the Giants when the teams met for the first time this season back in Week 2.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Listed as questionable
Robinson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, potentially setting up a game-time decision ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. Austin Ekeler becomes a strong fantasy play if Robinson is inactive, with Jeremy McNichols then stepping in as the No. 2 back and perhaps offering deep-league value.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Remains limited Thursday
Robinson (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
After tending to a knee injury for most of October that resulted in one DNP and another abbreviated outing, Robinson now is dealing with a new health concern that so far has capped his reps this week. He thus will have one more chance to get back to full participation or else potentially risk entering the weekend with a designation for Sunday's road game against the Giants. In the six contests in which he's earned at least a 40 percent snap share, Robinson has averaged 17.2 touches for 87 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring four rushing TDs.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Listed with hamstring injury
Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
Robinson dealt with a knee injury the past month, missing one full game and half of another. That injury has apparently cleared up, but now he's listed with a hamstring issue, albeit one that probably isn't serious given his practice participation at the start of the week. Any limitations this Sunday against the Giants would lead to more work for Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Modest numbers in win
Robinson rushed the ball 16 times for 65 yards in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Bears. He added one reception on one target for 11 yards.
The Commanders let standout rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels lead the offense, as he took to the air 38 times and also accounted for eight of the team's 32 rush attempts. Nevertheless, Robinson had a decent performance when called upon, tallying a long gain of 19 yards while gaining at least four yards on half of his 16 carries. The Commanders' only touchdown came on a Hail Mary to end the game, which also ended Robison's four-game streak of reaching the end zone.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Produces early in blowout win
Robinson rushed the ball 12 times for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers. He was not targeted.
Robinson returned after a one-game absence and delivered early with eight carries for 53 yards and a touchdown before halftime. He found the end zone on an eight-yard scamper early in the second quarter and was efficient overall. The final stat line will suggest that Jeremy McNichols worked in an even split with Robinson, but the latter only saw three carries in the final two quarters due to the blowout nature of the contest. Robinson should shoulder a more significant workload in an NFC showdown against the Bears in Week 8.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: Ready to roll in Week 7
Robinson (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Panthers.
Robinson missed the Week 6 loss to the Ravens with his knee injury, but after managing a limited practice in each day of Week 7 prep, he's back on the field as expected. As such, Robinson should be back in his customary lead-back role for what has been one of the most inviting matchups for running backs thus far this season, as the Panthers are surrendering 153.5 rushing yards per game.

Commanders' Brian Robinson: On track to play Sunday
Robinson (knee) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Panthers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After not practicing at all last week and missing last Sunday's loss to the Ravens, Robinson got in a round of limited practices this week and seems to be trending in this direction. Robinson should step right back into his role atop the Commanders backfield, handling the bulk of the early-down work while Austin Ekeler mixes in and sees the majority of the passing-down snaps.
