Seahawks' Michael Dickson: Busy in Super Bowl
Dickson punted seven times for 335 yards (47.9 average) in Sunday's 29-13 win over the Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Dickson had a long of 55 yards and landed three punts inside the 20-yard line, and most importantly, he allowed second-team All-Pro punt returner Marcus Jones to return just two punts for four yards. During the regular season, Dickson averaged 49.0 yards per punt (sixth) while earning second-team All-Pro honors. Dickson signed a four-year, $16.2 million extension last August to stick in Seattle through the 2029 season.

Seahawks' Michael Dickson: Booming punts Thursday
Dickson punted four times for 222 yards (55.5 average) in Thursday's 23-23 tie versus the Raiders.
Dickson signed a four-year, $16.1 million contract extension in June to make him the league's highest-paid punter, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com. He continues to prove why he deserves the title, highlighting his night with a 77-yard punt Thursday.

Dickson (back) is active for Sunday's NFC West clash against the Cardinals.
Dickson dealt with back spasms during last Sunday's win against the Jets and was deemed questionable heading into this weekend. Ty Zentner was elevated from the practice squad Saturday as insurance in case Dickson ended up unable to suit up, but Zentner is inactive versus Arizona with Dickson set to play.

Seahawks' Michael Dickson: Dealing with back spasms
Coach Mike Macdonald said Dickson had back spasms during Sunday's 26-21 win at the Jets, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Dickson was in clear discomfort in the second half and even went to the locker room at one point, but he came back to the sideline for the rest of the contest. Macdonald relayed that kicker Jason Myers would have punted if the Seahawks had needed to go that route, so there's a chance the team holds tryouts in the coming days in the event Dickson requires some time to recover.
